Get ready for the next installment of the Twilight saga! The star said the cast will be back together and working on Breaking Dawn in less than two weeks and spills on how she’s getting ready to reprise her role as Rosalie!

We got to catch up with Nikki Reed at the launch of the Swatch new gents collection at the Gansevoort Park Avenue on Oct. 6 in NYC, where she told us the whole cast will be back together in New Orleans to begin work on the Breaking Dawn set in no time!

While Twilight and Eclipse were shot in Vancouver, the star said the cast is first headed down south for the fourth movie. “I’m headed out there [to New Orleans] in just over a week,” she said.

While on location, the star will also be taking on another role — as a student! “I’ve signed up for five courses, but two were unavailable,” she said, saying that she plans to take language, English, and psychology classes in her free time.

So, what can we expect from Rosalie? Nikki said she wants fans to see the sympathetic side of her vampire character and hopes to humanize her. “I cross my fingers I can do it accurately.” In order to get back in to character, she said she re-read the book, Breaking Dawn and she has acting classes scheduled for next week and plans to prep up until she goes off to New Orleans! “I went through it last month once I got the scripts just to make sure nothing was missing.”

The writer of th enovel ‘Bluebell Cottage’ (which is due to be released 21 Oct 2010) confirmed today via Facebook will direct and produce the movie based on her novel, saying:

“Just to confirm Nikki Reed is going to be directing and producing Bluebell Cottage the movie! Do not believe the hate rumours that are being spread on Twitter by fake nikki’s.”

There’s no cast yet, the movie still in pretty early state of pre-production. Here’s the synopsis of the novel:

In 2011, following the tragic death of her daughter, Keely decides to leave her life in Nottingham behind and start a new one elsewhere. After researching her ancestral routes she is drawn to County Kerry, Ireland and arranges to rent a cottage close to Killarney National Park. She soon meets a mysterious yet extremely handsome stranger named Regan and begins to fall secretly in love with him. When Regan has to leave suddenly, Keely is devastated and, in an effort to keep herself occupied, she finds a kindred spirit in her friend’s brother, Robert. As they grow closer, he boldly declares his love for Keely but she rejects his advances and waits for Regan to come back, leaving Robert heartbroken and tormented.

Regan eventually returns and immediately admits his love for her. But, all is not what it seems and with his arrival comes news that will shatter all Keely knows about the world today and he leads her into the magical world of The Sidhe, the legendary fairy folk of Ireland. Before long Keely becomes the unwitting cause of a great war between the Irish and Welsh Fairy tribes. And, when a close friend betrays her and leads her into the clutches of Queen Mab of the Welsh Fairy realm, Keely is forced to make a decision, whether to save her one true love, Regan or give her daughter another chance at life.

People always say they move to New York for “the energy,” but that’s not quite true. Really, they move to the big city for moments like last night, when we literally crashed (oops) into actress Nikki Reed. She was hosting the Swatch New Gent launch at the Gansevoort Park hotel, and once we got over the shock of tripping over a Cullen, we asked the actress and writer a few questions. Here’s what she said.

You’re wearing like four Swatches all together! You look like Molly Ringwald in an ’80s movie! I know, aren’t they cool? I like how simple they are. I think I learned how to tell time on one of these.

Besides Twilight, you’re in a new movie, Catch 44, with Deborah Ann Woll, right?
She’s so amazing.

Did you guys bond by talking about being vampires? Ha, no! (Pause) Okay, yeah, kind of. We did. But even though she’s so great on True Blood, she’s so different from that character. She’s so smart, and a little bit introverted, and just so thoughtful about everything. I actually wrote a story about her and her boyfriend, who’s also wonderful, on my blog.

How often do you blog? As much as I can. Writing has always been very important to me.

You were a writer before you were an actress. Basically, yeah! It’s something I’ll always really love.
