Nikki confirmed at the Eclipse Premiere that she is off to shoot a movie with Bruce Willis and Malin Åkerman called Catch 44. Shooting begins in July so hopefully we will get more information on this film but until then here is the plot
Tes, Dawn and Kara are three girls working dead end jobs barely getting by in Vegas. Their lives radically change when Tes has a run-in with an interesting stranger named Mel. When Mel offers the girls a chance at a better life through crime, they take him up on the offer only to find themselves thrust into a life or death situation involving a psychopathic hit-man, a grizzly trucker, and a delusional line cook
Want to know how to get Nikki Reed’s cool, textured side braid? Her stylist tells you how!
The second I saw Nikki Reed’s intricate side braid at the Activision Kick-Off Party For E3 in LA on June 14 I had to know how I could copy her effortlessly cool ‘do and how you could too obviously! Thankfully, celebrity hairstylist Kristin Ess who created this stunning look promises it’s actually attainable. “It’s something that’s easy and works with anyone’s texture,” Kristin says. “There are so many hairdos we do on our celebs that are impossible to get. But, this is literally something you can do on yourself.” Nikki loved this look as much as I did too! “She’s super into it,” Kristin says. “She’s so down for anything.”
“This is a really great updo for someone with a couple of colors in their hair,” Kristin says. “We lightened Nikki’s hair up a little bit. With this you see a lot more of the color.” So, why the color change for Nikki? “ We wanted to even it out,” Kristin says. “We made the dark bottom a little lighter and did a subtle highlight around her face. It’s very low maintenance and it wont have a line. I don’t want her running around her filming location with roots or highlights that are fading.”
To get Nikki’s look, Kristin started by putting loose, rough waves into Nikki’s hair. Then, after making a deep side part, she loosely French braided the right, front side of her head. She then pulled the rest of her hair over her shoulder pinning a few pieces behind her ear in a twisting motion. “Take a piece and pin it back, if it doesn’t look good twist it another direction and pin it back again,” Kristin says. “It looks better when it’s not too intentional and too perfect.” Kristin did a fishtail braid for about two inches and then secured the hair letting it cascade back into her loose curls. If you haven’t mastered the messy hair look yet, Kristin suggests you, “do a perfect braid and then pull it apart. Go in with your fingers and pull out a couple of little pieces.”
Nikki has been listed on Teen Vogue’s Best Dressed List for last night MTV Movie Awards! Thanks Phillip for letting us know

Makeup artist Fiona Stiles just emailed me the scoop on the look she created for Twilight star Nikki Reed (for an awards show last night). Enjoy! “After prepping the skin with Yonka’s Pampelmousse moisturizer, I used Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in #6.5 and mixed it 50/50 with Jouer Luminizing Tint in Bronzed for beautiful, glowing, lit from within skin. After dusting on a little Chantecaille powder in Ray, I swept a bit of pink blush on the apples of her cheeks (MAC Powder Blush in Dame). I used a pretty, luminous light bronze shadow on her lids, and a touch of the same color along the lower lash line, and then added a little mossy green liner along the upper lash line (Chanel Long Lasting Eyeliner in Vert Bronze) to make her hazel eyes pop. Three coats of Lancome Virtuose in Black on the top lashes–and just a tiny bit on the bottom–gave her a sweet open-eyed look. For the lips, I used my new favorite lip color of all time, Tom Ford Beauty True Coral lipstick. It’s the perfect coral and looks so pretty with sunkissed skin. The color just screams summertime!”
